I was so surprised to see this car when I visited the Volo museum with a coworker when I was visiting our office in Libertyville. I had no idea it was there. I about died. I knew it existed but had no idea it was still around. Next time I’m there, I’m coming in and asking to sit in it, and KITT. Missed opportunities last time. 😢

That syation wagon, along with some of his other cars, was brought to a car dealership in New Castle, Indiana, after he passed away and put on display for people to come down and check out. I remember that wagon specifically because of the color . I was about 5 years old or so
