Most of it gets chopped. We will probably make 3-400 round bales for dry cows and heifers.

if choppers set up properly with same theoretical cut.....how can that gehl possibly compete with that nh ?

I think the issue is that the new Holland only has 6 knives, so the feed rolls are slowed down to keep the loc correct. It could use knives anyway, so we will put 12 new ones in it this winter. That should make it so we can speed up the feed rolls again.
