I love the intro video! It always makes me laugh! I have a international 560 with a pull type sickle mower and love it! I love you guys helping on the farm! I really like how you load the wagon! One step easier to feeding the cows!

Haha that intro shot was a slim chance! Just earlier that day I thought about something I could put at the start of my videos and the very same day I was able to get a great one on my first try!

You need to do a video on replacing the bearing. Beginning to end. Purchasing of the bearing, prep, actual installation. How it all worked out and issues encountered. Be straight forward, show the good, the bad and the ugly. Love your channel. Good luck.

I accidentally ran over my 544's seat while testing out a hydraulic repair. I got an old metal seat and welded up a bracket for it. I painted it IHC Red so nobody could tell it wasn't "factory" 🙄

Is there a significant benefit to feeding the cows a little fresh green chop in the evening as opposed to just letting them wander the pasture and eat grass?
@KeithFinkFamilyFarm4 жыл бұрын
We make the greenchop available to them, in the pasture, after the evening milking. My thought process on that is to make it easy for them to fill their guts before dark. The idea being it's easier for them to fill at the wagon as opposed to eating off the pasture in the dark. Just doing what I can to keep milk production at acceptable levels. Wandering around out in the pasture already uses more of their energy as opposed to when they are standing in the barn in the winter. The energy used to walk the pasture is energy not available for milk production. So making it easier for them to fill their gut before dark is what I'm trying to accomplish. During the day they wander the pasture and graze. They usually fill by mid-morning, and then spend the rest of the day laying down, processing the food and making milk. Keith-

Keith Fink Sure- that makes good sense. I grew up on a wheat farm in ND, so don’t know a lot about the dairy side. Sure enjoy the videos, though.

What is that yellow trailer in the background
@KeithFinkFamilyFarm2 жыл бұрын
It is officially known as a Knight Power Wagon. Basically a barge box with an apron on the floor for unloading out the back. Probably new in the mid 1960s. We use it for hauling corn silage from a neighboring farm.

Same here, I'm 13, been riding fender since 6 and no problems because I new the dangers and didn't goof off...and since I did it so often...for extra saftey to make my mom happy, we just bent some tube and mounted it on the fender (well this was on a backhoe and it was my grandpa's tractor at the time) and it made a seat rest as well as a place to hold onto....all in all it really isn't "dangerous" if you responsible and paying attention/no what your doing
@d-40732 жыл бұрын
@@Tractors_Trucks_And_Pups It is still dangerous, yeah you can go years without falling off but 1 time and you could be crippled or dead.
