Individually the Gammon's missiles are scarier IMO, but the S-300 makes up for it with volume of fire.

SA5 below 500 ft it cant do anything, fly over a lake or ocean at 500 feet. but its a beast if in open sky and cant fly low due to other defences. 160nm coverage or so

Just to note that feet is the standard way of denoting altitude across the world. The only countries that continue to use meters are China, Mongolia, North Korea, Russia, and Tajikistan. Nauti; miles is standard for distances. Probably better to avoid using meters and kilometers altogether.

There are a lot of flyable Russian aircraft in DCS, so its good to know the meters and KM as well. It saves a few seconds of conversion for those players who prefer to fly those aircraft.

You most likely used static units. Pick from either the vehicles or the templates to get live firing.

These are extremely dangerous, located deep by behind enemy front line, defending an entire nation... you will be up against fighter jets defending them. they will likely be off and be looking at data from awacs, jets, EWR etc.... then turn on when required, they can launch with Search radar then active tracking radar when close like a tws mode... but of course you can see the launch. each missile is like $2m USD each + mach 6 capable with jets, shorads, Sa10 you will struggle to get through. the best way is a large glide bomb saturation, with jamming and air launched decoys. Drones the best counter but no drones in dcs

At least now you can saturate it with TALDs. But its ability to track so many targets at once is spicy.
