wonderful video. What the cage method misses is the note available between "inversions". like in the first position ; E,B,E,B,E,G#, with string 6,5,4 being 1st position and 3,2,1 being at the 4th and 5th frets. Alfred's chord chart doesn't cover that, but I use it in Anne Murray's you needed me. Chet and Lenny spent a lot of time playing in the notes that fall between the inversions. Knowing the function of the notes sorts it all out.
