Many have said that XG dances more like a dance crew. XG dance movements incorporates all parts of their bodies from head to toe (foot work). Who else dances using their elbows? Their synchronization, swag, formations, level changes, footwork, isolations, attitude and chemistry hits differently than other girl groups.

A big reason XG's choreo hits is because of the Choreographers they use. Group Competition level type Choreo. Sierra Laulau was the Choreographer for The Lab Dance Crew which was the 2018 Season winners of The World of Dance TV Show and Kiel Tutin who worked with the dance queen Parris Goebel and the Royal Family Dance Crew which Won 3 Straight World Hip Hop Championships. I can't agree more. XG are the only ones that do hiphop and RnB justice. Not like others treating it as trend or doing it halfish or sounds like. That said that's why Mascara is not my cup of coffee. That's why "Left Right" the sound and beat is so dope, so chill and the vibe is on point💯. Not to mention the choreo, the moves are not difficult, it's just that vibe and that swag that you need (MUST HAVE) to make it look so damn good.

@@REDEMPTION46 tbf I probably would of chosen another 4th gen group like itzy or everglow but even then it’s hard to top xg. They are very advanced dancers, even the weakest dancer in the group is a strong dancer which just means you can give them harder choreo. Their teamwork is no joke 5-6 years of training together really paid off.

to the guy in red, New Jeans rotations to the center by the person singing are very simple nothing to see there. Pay attention to XG's rotations to the center by their members. They are sometimes far from it not only do they slide and jump into the center they do it way faster than any group. Their rotations and formations are more complex and not only that their spacing is perfect.

The two songs are very different and it's clear XG is filled with more seasoned dancers but it's still cool to see them side by side; it was a good reaction. Loved seeing the utter silence after that guy in the white said “I'm crushing”. I don't think it'll be easy to find dancers to compete with XG especially cause their style is different and honestly derives most of its inspiration from black movements and popular dances and so it's more free moving and intricate

when I watch XG, I can only think of jabbawockeez as fair match up. Even other boy groups right now can't compete with poise amd control in their dance moves. There are great ways to express cuteness, aggression or swag in dancing. Other idol groups overdo those stuff and forget to move as a group.

NewJeans entire concept is to show young teen, high school girls making up a dance, looking less choreographed which appeals to their target audience. The producers don't want the group to look as polished as Le Sserafim for instance. When I see NJ dancing in their M/Vs, it reminds me of my daughter when she was in middle/high school when she was in dance classes. She and her friends would make up dances or copy Kpop dances during that time, late 90's and it looked very much like the way NJ does their movements and choreo. I have no doubt that like any other GG, they can do synchronized dances that are top tier. NJ is the anti overly choreographed GG, doing simple enough choreo for their fans to pickup and copy. That is brilliant. XG is possibly the best GG right now when you talk about synchronicity, awareness, seamless transitions. Not one weak dancer in the group. That heartbeat shoulder movement, the three girls in the back doing that slow motion walk while Hinata was doing her tippy tappy solo part. That opening and closing of the arms at the end of the song, c'mon! So simple, we've all done that, and they made it look so dang cool. There were so many parts that are so good in Left Right, I can't believe how chill the entire song and choreo is. I actually thought Left Right was one of their most relaxed choreos of all of their M/Vs despite the complexity, which speaks to the individual skills of the XG members. Cocona, Hinata and Maya, had their solo moments away from the group as well. Easy win for XG.

all of the xg members are adults now or at least the only one that is a minor is turning an adult this year so i see how their concept and it’s seen more grown up but putting that aside xg choreo is crazy and super satisfying. the girls also have dance practices where there’s no camera movement and it’s the same cause they just know how to do it, xg choreo for me doesn’t seem like a girl group like they look like a dance crew to me which is a major compliment

The best way to see XG in sync is the Fix version. The moving version is really good because is dynamical and emphasises more impactful parts but it kind of misses the choreo as a whole, at least for me 🤔but either way, XG wins for me 🤣

Oh nooo I love my New Jeans girlies alot, I honestly do, they're a breath of fresh air in Kpop's repetitive concept in terms of music and mvs. But good gracious! XG girlies are sooooo good. Immediately I was so hooked to their dance moves from the beginning itself. Their synchronisation, foot work and their vibe is sooooo good. They are so much fun to watch. Ok they keep mentioning camera tricks but they chose the video they have a fixed camera version. In the fixed actually all 7 do the tilt in the video. I think XG experience in their 5 years of training really made them and also they had sienna lalau choreograph who is really well known in the street dance scene in america and western countries. XG is like a legit dance unit that even compete in competitions like world of dance and such

NewJeans since debut have been highlighted for having fun and interactive choreo throughout, they’re doing different alternations of moves all the time instead of being mirror images to make it more open style, if anything Xg would look more rehearsed since they have sharper synchronized movements??? NewJeans has the most open style choreography out of 4th gen, and the only member I would say is stiff is hyein because she struggles with groove, nothing stiff about the rest :))

@@jeaniesroom Of course. Nobody is a natural at something. Dancing while making it look good takes many many rehearsals i.e. practice. But if you've practiced a lot, and it still looks stiff, then it's not good enough. When XG girls whip their bodies and arms and legs, there's definitely energy or swag. They look fluid. When New Jeans dances, it looks stiff and mechanical. When New Jeans does it, they look like a high school drill team or whatever whereas XG looks like the Laker girls or Raiderettes.
