Cats is a amazing musical I think it's the best ever musical I think the songs are amazing and there dancing I have a stick for cats so I put it in my tv and watch it all the time I'm making a dance to the songs all of the songs I love cats so much it's my favourite movie everrr

Because it's still a professional production, but it has different choreography, it should DEFINITELY have a movie so that there's one of the Lynne choreo and one of the Blankenbuehler choreo.

Jemima TheKitten I think they're in the process of making Cats into a movie with the director of Le Miz, and production should be start either late this year or early next year, so fingers crossed for the best.

i saw this show twice since it came back to broadway because i love cats. it has been my favorite show since i was little. my only complaint really is that i wish this choreographer kept the original dancing. my favorite part of the movie is when they dance for like 5 minutes with no singing and i didn't like the new choreography. it wasn't as good. and i also felt like the dance moves weren't as good. they didn't flow as much as the original. but overall, still a great show! it's so surreal to see it live. definitely worth it!

Robert is correct, the majority is Gillian Lynne and by the end of the run they had put even more of her work back. The new choreography, was not popular with audiences or the higher powers and isn’t staying with the show for any subsequent tours or remounting.

@@matt13r1 You’re joking right? She literally studied how cats moved, she has had multiple years (decades) in choreography and much more. This movie is about cats not humans I can understand modernizing a musicals choreography but completely ruining someone’s life work is completely disrespectful. Plus, I’ve seen multiple videos of choreography and it was just terrible in comparison to hers. Just because he has “Hamilton” under his name doesn’t necessarily mean you have to follow someone blindly like a sheep.

This is about cats, not humans. Their personalities, attitudes, movement. Humanizing it takes away from the magic of the show.
