You mentioned all three Avengers on stage together with Su and Moa being a symbol of unity. Both Kami Bands, East and West, were on stage performing together with them as well. Somehow they made having 2 drummers, 2 bassists, and 4 guitarists playing at the same time work.

I like how the message is much more about rising above it instead of feeling victimized. 'Say goodbye to yesterday'. 'Fox fly! Fly Fly Fly!'. A lot of what Babymetal speaks of is self empowerment.

Su got you in the feels again 😁 did you notice Su doing Kitsunes towards the Kamis ( all 8 of them ) as they returned to the stage left side and outwards on the right and checking eveyone was back before she shouted " we are " things like that which makes me love her even more forgetting no one ❤️ Su's vocals on Ijime Dame Zettai just get more passionate as the song progresses. Mikiko said in an interview, "Why did you put the running across the stage in the courography for Ijime Dame Zettai?" Her reply was they were so small and full of energy we wanted to see how fast they could run if true. What a great story 🤣. During the running part of Ijime Dame Zettai at Budokan Red Night, Moa slipped, and although limping and obviously in pain with tears streaming down her face, she finished the courography Jumping , fighting, and dancing She became Super Moa Chan ❤ with Yui falling of stage during Headbangèr and came back on for the next song, all smiles ( this song ) . Both true professionals and tougher than they look . ❤❤🤘🏼🦊🤘🏼
@Rymdsaft Жыл бұрын
That night, unless I am mistaken, according to the choreography Moa was supposed to receive one of Yui's punches by bending far backwards. Instead, she fell sat on the floor, as perhaps her leg could not support that move. The ultimate professional she is, like they all are, she never broke character, and picked up the choreography on the fly. The Red/Black Night stage was so big that you could see them starting their initial run in time to make it to centre stage when they needed to be there.

@Rymdsaft I think that is correct it definitely looked like she could not support her weight and just ended up sitting on the floor . Still tried, though . I would have sat holding my leg like a big baby 😩 🤘🏼🦊

Great reaction, thanks! I can't describe how much I love this version of "IDZ" with the three Avengers and both sets of the Kami Band on stage. 13 people performing on stage at the same time. Yes, this was the epic encore of Legend Metal Galaxy Day 2. But you need to play a special song with a special configuration after performing the freaking "Trilogy of Lights" fully, in a row and in the correct order for the first (and only) time.
@flugelhornoldman1362 Жыл бұрын
Thanks again from Japan 有難う💛。 You picked up a special version of this song featuring all of 13 stars at that time (BM + 3 Avengers + East & West Kami Bands). This was played on Jan.26, 2020 and it was for the first time in several years. Because audience never expected it to happen, they got so hyped. The phrase "Dame Zettai (= No absolutely)" is originated from police campaign against illegal drugs which had started in 1960s. So this song implies that "Ijime (= bullying)" is considered as harmful and addictive as illegal drugs. We have to continue our efforts at home and in school (and in any society or organization or group in the world) to eliminate it. After this revival, BM have continued to perform this song in all of their shows in Japan, Asia and Australia. It was probably their message to the current world.

Ijime, Dame, Zettai is one of Babymetal great songs. Normally the reactors react to the performance at Sonysphere 2014, with the original trio, Su, Yui and Moa: Ijime,Dame,Zettai - Live at Sonisphere 2014,UK It was his first big performance outside of Asia. In the performance, Su closes her eyes while Yui and Moa stage a fight as part of the choreography. They stage a part of the song lyrics because people who pretend not to see the bullying are part of the problem. Thank you.

"Why did it take so long to get to this song?" Possibly because it is a sensitive subject for you, but as with all Babymetal songs, it is encouraging and uplifting. ❤ All 3 Avengers and both East and West Kami bands on stage at the same time always makes for an epic ending to a show. 🔥🤘🦊🤘🔥

Great reaction - I really enjoyed that. It is a little ironic you were more involved with the song than the choreo for once since the choreo in this really does relate so much to the lyrics ... especially with Su, Moa and all 3 Avengers on stage and the fighting/bullying parts of the choreo during the guitar breaks. In that last guitar break Moa was fighting off all 3 Avengers ... until finally Su stepped in and threatened to kick them all in the head if they didn't stop. I love this performance with all 3 Avengers and both East and West Kami Bands all on stage performing together. This only happened twice - they did the same for the finale with 'Road of Resistance' the night before. IDZ was their original show closer and it is great they have brought it back to be used in that same capacity again. It was actually the second song they ever played live - they held its official release back until one or two other songs like 'Iine' (that is iine) was released, possibly because it is a more straightforward metal song and Koba was wanting to establish they would not be limited to just one style before putting this song out. IDZ also pre-dates 'Gimme Chocolate' by quite a long time. 'Gimme Chocolate' was the song and video that went viral in 2014 before the album was released, but it was absolutely not their first song, there were several songs before that one. With 'Gimme Chocolate' you could watch the official video and you will get most of the choreo I guess (but bear in mind the audio is not live and the Kami Band were not on stage). Personally I would say to try a live version ... for example live on the Late Show with Stephen Colbert is a very small and intimate performance area and the Kami Band are right behind the girls too.

Good reaction 🤙Every time they do this song it's always epic! Every time they end a show and start with the "we are" it always gets me emotional. I think it's just seeing them so happy and engaged with the crowd, wanting everyone to know they are as one, but also just knowing they made it to where they are and deserve everything they have. Proud moment for fans I guess 🔥🦊🤘

Babymetal has so many amazing songs to choose from and everyone has their own favorites, which impact them the most. IDZ is a very popular song though. A very emotional performance in many ways, this was peak Avenger era, these were 2 shows with completely different set lists, to showcase the 3rd album. Both days ended with a performance with all the girls and both bands (Babymetal in recent years added a 'western kami band', mainly to tour in Europe/US, etc.). Day 1 was 8 band members, 5 girls Road of Resistance and day 2 Ijime, Dame, Zettai, this song had not been performed in years and many thought they might never do it again. And so their were lots of people with tears (including the grown men) in the audience. 🙂
@tanamach Жыл бұрын
Really. If only we had met them earlier. When the girls first performed in Europe, this was the last song they played. It is the song that became their spiritual prop and the first song that the British audience went wild for. We believe that this song will be loved for a long time as a beacon of hope in a world that has changed so much.

Probably my favorite Babymetal song if I had to pick one. As a song, it still sounds amazing, the messaging is just incredible. The lyrics broken down line by line are heartbreaking yet inspiring and full of hope at the same time. What a powerful message and who better to deliver it than some powerful young ladies? Some folks say the choreo is a little outdated for their current age but I think it still is full of strength, charm, and kawaii. Love it! Edit: someone mentioned the live at Sonisphere in 2014 version of this song, I would actually highly recommend you check it out, whether it's a reaction or just on your own time. It was the first time I believe they played in a huge venue outside of Japan and the UK crowd is known for being hostile to "different" styles. You thought you got emotional watching this version .. imagine watching the three of them when they basically were starting. ..the conviction and courage they had on that stage in front of that crowd AND the powerful messaging of the song? Tears always show up when I watch it haha. Truly awesome.

I had actually forgotten about this one lol I love seeing you get all emotional with Babymetal, it is very fitting. I think we all do. As you said in a previous reaction a long time ago, I think it was your Meta Taro reaction, It's something about Su's voice. Another song I'm REALLY looking forward to you reacting to is Dusk till Dawn and also one other song, Tales of Destinies (I think you'll REALLY have fun with the choreo with this song). Can't wait for you to react to those!! lol

I think it's really mature how it's actually a song about bullying, and not just being a victim of it. They talk about how sometimes we are the ones that hurt someone, willingly or unwillingly, and that also hurts us back. What we have to do is to be better than yesterday, and i really love the message. I think the idea of a "running" choreography is genius. Now I'm dying to see that in BABYMETAL. It could work so well! They could definitely pull that off in some of their bigger venues

Su has said she receives letters from fans across the world who tell her how this song helped them get past being bullied, and give them the confidence to face their bullies. There were 3 Avengers on stage because this was the final show of their world tour, and they had all the musicians and all the dancers who performed that tour on stage at once for this finale. They know how to put on a show.

A big hug for you my friend Xiaouiris!!!....No one better than you, to make a reaction video and analyze this incredible singer who is leaving all the experts, literally with their jaws on the floor (Do you remember Jim Carrey's movie "The Mask"? well, just like that)...In 2017, a 22-year-old singer from Kazakhstan, named Dimash Kudaibergen, was invited to participate in the famous Chinese program for professional singers called "The Singer"... In his first appearance, Dimash covered one of the most difficult songs in the world, a famous French composition called "S.O.S. D'un Terrien En Détresse"...Since then all this madness began on the internet, KZbin and social networks worldwide and he is already considered the best singer on the entire planet... It is almost impossible to see a human being, being able to reach vocal ranges of 8 octaves, that is, the 88 keys of a digital piano, which allows him to reach all registers, both masculine and feminine, that is, he can sing as Bass, Baritone, Tenor, Contratenor, Contralto, Mezzosoprano and Soprano...You can see in KZbin to all kinds of experts (Vocal coaches, analysts, singing teachers, singers, youtubers, reactors, etc.), who have dedicated themselves to watching his videos and verifying for themselves that what is said about him is completely true...In addition to all this, Dimash is capable of singing in more than 12 languages...In all his concerts worldwide, tickets are sold in just seconds, via the internet, due to the immense popularity he has worldwide... Anyway, I think you haven't met this impressive singer yet, so here is the link to the first song that Dimash performed in China in that year 2017, the song S.O.S., and if it doesn't bother you, I would like you to mention me as the person who recommended it to you...Warning: You have to be prepared for thousands of views, comments and new subscribers...The video It is more recent, so it does not have the millions of views that the first ones, but it is more complete, including an intro, subtitles in several languages and better audio and sound quality...kzbin.info/www/bejne/mHW7ZHmeot6Bl8U

I don't often agree 100% with your assessments (which is, of course, natural) but in this case I was literally nodding at every sentence you spoke. This is my favourite performance of the song because of the unity thing you mentioned. No matter which Avenger may be someone's favourite, no matter whether someone prefers the Japanese Kami Band or the American Kami band who play the overseas gigs, *everyone* the fans love was on that stage pushing the same message: "No more bullying, forever." (And I haven't forgotten Yui, but sadly she is no longer an active member and so obviously couldn't be a part of it. But she performed this song many times too, and always with conviction.) I've never really been bullied, but I have kids and grandkids and I've seen enough of it to find this song very emotional. This performance especially so. There seems to be something about some of the Japanese bands that just bypasses the mind and goes straight for the heart. Some songs by BABYMETAL and Nemophila in particular really give me a beating.
