+supersidekick 1)His name is taemin, from an idol group called SHINee, which debuted in 2008 (ive been their fan for 4 years and im still :) ). Our fandom name is SHINee World or Shawol which also stands for shinee world. Taemin released 3 solo albums: Danger, Press your number, and Sayonara Hitori (japanese realease, also made a korean version for it) He won Hit The Stage(dance competition show) for episode 1 with the song sayonara hitori. Thank god all of his songs became a hit, but sadly new fans dont like to look for old groups only newer ones thats why people only listen to new groups, when the real talent came from oldies, and that oldies made kpop. so thats why its depressing seeing shinee not getting enough recognition. Also check out SHINee's music :) every comeback they have a different genre, and thats what makes them unique. 2)Seventeen are still a rookie from my view. They debuted in 2015. Yea mostly people go to new groups like seventeen and leave the group they used to stan which is sad and depressing for me as a long time kpop fan. Or new fans only look for seventeen and such. Im kinda a seventeen fan, so i dont know much about them, but i appreciate and respect their music :)

The whole thing with NU'EST happened last year though, and they were still short on money, having to deal with Seventeen debuting and still not that popular. They only started to make some money with them this year, and ever since they've treated NU'EST well. You can even see how much money they invest on their videos (that don't even have tons of views). They made an MV for Daybreak as a gift, just like Seventeen is getting with Check In and Highlight. They also did a special dance practice for another song of the album, and even their stage outfits are better and look really classy. They made a good looking pre-debut MV for Pledis Girlz (comparing it to like, Shining Diamonds, it's a huge difference). They seem to be taking steps into the right direction, and even a while back when I think Baekho got injured, he was also put to rest, like Wonwoo. Some companies out there like JYP and SM send their artists to record MVs and promote with injuries. Their main problem has always been poor promoting, but they seem to be learning now, so please let's try to trust them a bit more.

If people want to really see what poor management is like they should be a Topp Dogg fan. Like maybe Pledis made some mistakes with Nu'est, but they are nothing compared to Stardom. Poor Topp Dogg has been stuck in idol limbo for ages and they'll probably never get out. They went from 13 members to 9 in three years. Or maybe people think Seventeen and Nu'est would be better off with Starship? Becaue Boyfriend and Monsta X are doing so well, right? Pledis gave Seventeen lots of time and training before their debut and made sure they had a clear concept while Starship seems like they just tossed Monsta X out there and said 'Eh, you'll figure it out along the way'. And no one gave a shit when their choreography was taken without proper credits or when Minhyuk performed while very clearly in pain from an injured leg etc. Pledis may not be perfect, but they are so much better at management than many other companies. Yet because of some fansites making up nasty rumours now everyone acts like Pledis is the worst company in all of Seoul, like really? You think Pledis is so bad, send your artists to Cho PD instead. He'll take care of them, right? Smh

After 4 years since this was released for the very 1st time, Jun has been catching my sight so much even if he's not the main dancer of the group like his move is so precise, smooth, sharp, and eye catching even if he's not the center. I became a fan of seventeen back in 2017 after listening to the 13 member ver of this song. it was a huge hit in my friend circle and its almost 6 years since then. i lost interest in kpop around 2021 due to exams and college and now I'm back and I cant even tell you how proud I am to see them so successful. like I used to watch all their videos back then and thought how underrated they were and when they gained popularity with going seventeen I could see that people found their worth but I had to let go of them little to make my life easier. it didnt help, but now I learned to balance with my life and enjoy fangirling over them. not even lying these guys make me so happy. i feel like a proud mother. brb imma cry in a corner
