Hello sir. Apologies for not keeping up with you. It's so nice to see some of the stock footage you've gathered over the years. How the traffic has changed. It's so sad that the Royal Mail has been taken off the Railway last month with the withdrawal of the 265 units that were built for the task. They weren't the old style TPO's but it kept the Night Mail Crossing The Border and sad to see that end. I was moderating on a Live-Stream when we got to see one of the last consists moving through Acton Bridge there. It's been a miserable old summer so I'm glad you've been keeping in and keeping dry. If memory serves me correctly, those Cooling Towers at Didcot are now gone too, but I'll always stand corrected. It's as much fun to be using the Video Editing as it is to be stood on a cold. wet platform, I dare say. I hope you're keeping as well as possible and hope to see some of the Stock Footage and maybe some unseen bits and pieces that you've not shown before. I hope your Brothers are keeping well as well as David and yourself, Keith. Keep Safe and Keep Warm and I hope to be riding with SMILEVIDEOTRAINS again soon. Best wishes. Adam

HI Adam. Nice to read your comment.. Yes Didcot is no more and more are awaiting demolition, sad to say. I and other enthusiasts tend to agree that our hobby is dying and we have had the very best.I often view some of my videos which go back 40 odd years and get great pleasure re-living the many hours I'VE spent on platforms. thanks for your comment

Crikey, all that freight, you wouldn't see that much today I'll wager. Great to look back and see the GWR HSTs and Adelantes running then, plus 60010 and the Didcot Cooling Towers - how times change.

So sad to see how our hobby is dying but I am so glad i still have one hell of a video library on video and even the loss of quality cant change my love of trains.Virtually off the railscene now due to lack of health [mainly walking and strength] HOWEVER.. I live in hope....

Well that was most welcome Keith! A fantastic session of freights and a very good helping of Redsheds for me haha. Great seeing Banbury one of my favourite stations, i was there last weekend for three days, had a nice session on Monday morning and caught the GWR Castle on a private charter. 2013 where had the time gone? How is James doing these days Keith? As always really enjoyed, cheers Nick.
