They COMPLETELY missed the point about Legendary skins, right? It doesn't matter if it's a new champion, what makes a Legendary skin is the difference between the base model and the Legendary skin.

riot has always had issues with every new characters' first skins like hwei, aurora, milio, smolder, etc... they surprisingly did so well with naafiri but then there's ambessa who looks barely different

I mean we have been getting $200 gacha skins more consistently, a $500 skin, an ultimate that doesn't look or feel like an ultimate skin, and soon we'll be getting a new skin tier called exalted which is another gacha system worth $250... the only good thing I expect from RIOT now are their music tbh edit: I forgot that we've also been getting legendary skins that feel like an epic skin with barely any new animations and no 2nd forms
