Years after a close friend moved to the other side of the country, I received a letter. As I walked from the mailbox, a monarch butterfly drifted down near me as if to keep me company. I was reading the letter as I went….it said my dear friend had died. I felt it was the Lord comforting me with this beautiful creature which had held special meaning to that friend when she was alive. And certainly she was now truly alive in heaven with the Lord!
