This is really odd to read. Because....Im 45 now. Grew up with a narc abusive mother. Father fled and disappeared. Pushed into a relationship and was trapped. Then managed to get away from that 5 years later. Then a third covert narc 7 years...escaped. straight into the hands of another covert narc....I knew deep down there was a cycle to break but I didn't understand what. Broke up after 11 years bam...awakening everything was clear. I looked back and thought this is odd how could I not see this. Deep down I knew there was a pattern but it didn't show until the time was right. Now.......the voice in my head says...well done....its time to relax because the next 40 years are going to be beautiful
