The pot was boiling and the fire on blast. I was running on barely any water soon to be evaporated. I saw what was happening, if i didn't do something fast my home would burn down and me along with it. Now this is just an analogy, but the stakes were the same. What am i to do i thought? Then it hit me, it's not up to me. I was raised a Satsangi. We are taught our whole lives to trust in god's will and not be beholden to out come. So i prayed to god and said, oh god, my enemies are out to get me. I see your light and you've shown me the truth. I leave it all in your hands. If i am meant to die in the process, then i will leave being grateful to having an opportunity to serve you in some capacity in this life. The next few days and several months were intense, but nothing like it had been over the years. I kept getting messages, these trails were never meant to break you, they're here to strengthen you. As liquid metal pours through the crucible into the fire. When i came out of the other side, I had become enamoured in god's faith. That realization lead me to understand, I had no control over the meaningless things in life. Meaningless things like, what people thought of me, my status, my wealth, my health. I then soon was able to conserve immense amounts of energy i had been pouring into worry and hurry my entire life. I took that new found life and directed it inward into my own well being. I cut those people in my life that no longer served me good in my life, completely out. This was not my own doing, it was all done by the grace of god. Anyone has this ability. Even people of low status and wealth. In fact, ESPECIALLY people of low status and wealth. They have nothing to lose and everything to gain.
