I thought then it was because of my figure etc - but I know now its because I glow. the women hate me immediately and the men cant shut their mouths. my family was so busy trying to bury my light in my childhood that I didnt know how powerful it really is - or that its a good thing. When the hush would fall over the room i didnt feel powerful - I felt a bit intimidated to be the center of attention like that - everywhere I went. I can still get that now at my age - but I've learned not to be swayed or intimidated by it anymore. that those whose eyes are cast down arent worth my gaze. apes bow the head and hold out a hand to be forgiven and accepted by the alpha ape - the people who cast their gaze down are like those apes trying to get acceptance; bowing in acquiescence. I have learned I dont have to give my approval.
