This is so true. I didn't understand why people feel intimated by my presence. I thought it was all in my head, until one day my awaken gave me the reason why. God said you'll be hated because of Me. Now since I know I can continue the path God has set for me. I know that on this road the road is narrow and not many are on this road. I have learned to be OK with that.

Yeah I deal with some annoying people at my work. I know it's their demons causing it and I try to pray for them but some days my patience is wearing thin. They are always taunting me and trying to put me down. They are so threatened by my presence. They are super nosy and always trying to use everything I say against me. So now I try not to say much to them. Some days I wish I could work from home everyday just so I don't have to deal with them. I work remote two days a week. I always rise above and don't stoop to their level. Vengeance is his so at the end of the day I pray for them then my anger goes away. God will make them my footstool! God bless!!

Good point about the getting attention thing... sometimes I would question myself asking if I'm an attention seeker? Then I just realised and concluded that the more aligned with my true self I am and express myself authentically then attention is a by product.. it is what it is.. everyone stares at me wherever I am.. I've learned to accept it. Feel like a celebrity sometimes and all I'm doing is just being true. Truth is amazing. Those people were always that way, they just get against you because demons! You as a chosen expose them. They always do this to other people, but not on our level. No one goes as low as them to wrong others and you. I say move on because being friends with these people is a problem because they want you to have nothing. I worked with a supervisor like this and he wanted to act cool and always move me to position I didn't like. Glad he got move, before that he wanted to get on and insult over missorted packages.

I experience the same weird energy from people all the time. People will act different when I come around or they will decide they don't like me without even knowing me. I sometimes get upset about it and go out of my way to be friendly, but that doesn't work because as soon as you turn the conner they are talking about you in a negative way.

And the most hurtful and tear jerking is that all my memories are of people who look like me, I recall giving a presentation in an Ivy league graduate program. I was giving the information but inside I felt offended that the only three black students in the class tuned me out. one even fell asleep and the other drifted off into a lethargic stupor. I walked out of that class room and I didn't continue in that program, realizing that i was chasing crumbs and I refuse to be the crab in the barrel. I am now writing books and loving life with no competition, envy, or jealousy.

I worked with some people like that... and honestly I hate working with jealous people... not my type of people to work with or be friends with. Why gotta feel so low about yourself and make other people feel awkward coz of your insecurities. So true. I sell real estate and am apart of a team. This guy recruited to his team, but mind you I have prior experience with selling real estate and look pretty young. He was telling me everything to do & i followed his advice to a T , but the moment I started closing a little more deals (for myself) he felt some type of way. I guess he felt like the spotlight wasn’t on him anymore because people were starting to recognize me for my work & started acting funny with me. Started playing mind games with me. Even when we were in a group discussions, my presence was their, but they weren’t even acknowledging me & I felt like a ghost. Whenever I posted a closing, he never showed appreciation, but when someone else did he always did. I felt like I was always doing something wrong until I realized he was intimidated by me. Mind you, I’m just trying to do my job & stay out the way, but I can read people & can feel their energy really well and notice that he just didn’t care about me at all.
