I was fishing the Chowan for 4 days right before memorial weekend and it’s impossible to count the number of cypress trees 😊 I am coming to Edenton this weekend to meet up with anglers that have made the knockout round and be a fan😜🍀🎣🍀

Lost an estimated 12-14 lbr there last year in June😢😢 Biggest fish I have ever seen !!!! It is my favorite place to fish... I'm sure more pro tournament circuits will come after y'all. It is an outstanding fishery. I live 1.5 hours away and go often. !! Good Luck Brent !

I fish the Chowan every year. Gonna take 24+ lbs in the spring. Place is full of 5+ lb fish. What I love about MLF is the hidden gems that their format allows us to see. You gonna love this one.

Yeah, but then after the BPT leaves the Chowan, you'll never be able to fish much of the Chowan on weekends without hundreds of boats everywhere! Not to mention more tournaments will add the Chowan to the schedule. UGH!

I'm from the Hampton roads area and the Chowan is a great fishery. I normally launch out of Winton unless I fish in my club tournament. When the water isn't muddy, up the river has always been excellent. 5# fish are common. There is so much diverse opportunities ... top water, swim baits, and jigs. All work! Good luck.

Surely the fishing is better than the Bassmasters classic on the Ohio River many year's ago. If I recall correctly, that was their lowest final weigh in up to that point.

About where on the Chowan were you? Near Shoups landing boat access? Near the Potecasi creek?
