⏺️What is Elementary sampling theory ?
⏩Elementary sampling theory is the study of the relationships between a population and samples drawn from that population.
⏩In sampling theory, the population is the larger group from which the samples are drawn.
⏩ The population can be finite or infinite.
⏩For example, the population could be the students in a college, the day's production in an industrial concern, or a city's population
⏺️Some elementary methods for stratified sampling include:
⏩Choosing the population tray wisely
Checking for periodicity or any other features
⏩Dividing the population tray into sub-sets and sub-groups on the basis of selective property
⏩Using SRS or Systematic Sampling of each individual strata to form the sample frame
⏩Taro Yamane wrote Elementary Sampling Theory in 1967.
⏩ The study investigates if the age or size of a hotel influences market orientation practices.
