tbf lip syncing not included, anime avatars are 2D (typically) so adding actual emotion tracking is probably hard to do and expensive lol

Typical anime "vtuber" avatars aren't really designed properly to be expressive, to be fair. They are just meant to look cute to weebs, 99% of the time. I really hope we see more people with virtual avatars moving forward that aren't just "random quirky anime girl #2730" - but that requires a bit of work. There's a lot of potential for that sort of tech to enhance the quality of a lot of types of content.

This video made me realize that with the right addons Garry's Mod is a POWERFUL VTuber model tool. With it's custom sweps, playermodels, animations and the nature of it's facial tools not to mention the almost decade of existing workshop items that are installed in one click

I think the only thing potentially holding it back is how resource-intensive it could potentially get when played with like an Unreal game or something. The best solution would be to get a PC just powerful enough to run GMOD at good FPS, which in today's age is probably not that hard or expensive, and screen share it on the streaming PC.

God you can't talk about dreams to me because I have a backlog of journals to search through since I'm invested in dream analysis. Especially about being stabbed or shot or exhausted. I have Frankie Muniz Syndrome. I feel all of that shit. I even taste dream foods too. Phantom subconscious senses are buckwild. They're part of why I don't like dreaming sometimes. Waking up with no energy and feeling like you've got a gaping wound in your back is horrifying. I was late to work once because I was attempting to lift my car in a dream and woke up after 8 hours more tired and aching than when I fell asleep.
