Chris Akrigg-CHRISCROSS2

Well here we go again, the second instalment of riding the bike with the curly whirly bars and skinny tyres. We are currently at the hight of the Cyclocross season so i thought it was about time i dug the cyclocross bike out for another spin. I read somewhere that Cyclocross originated for roadies back in the day trying to spice up their winter training. They would race from point to point using whatever means possible, racing down farm track and running across fields with the bike on there back etc. That was their spin. My back ground is Trials, and this is my spin!

The beautiful thing about Chris's riding, is that he can in fact ride anything, but with an amazing flare that is both inspiring and approachable. Every time I watch his videos I hear myself saying "I can do that", but not in a way that that trivializes Chris's riding, but in the way more aligned with inspiration. I see him ride and I am inspired to ride like him. Chris, you are the f****** man keep doing your thing!

Love the fact that he can ride any bike he wants to an amazing level, but I preferred the days of his pure trials videos in quarry's, on rocks, in streets, etc.

Awesome video! Lifted my mood while being in hospital after a triple fusion on my left foot after an accident 2 years ago mtbing! Thanks Chris akrigg! Legend! Would love to see Chris and Adam grant from giant bikes ride together then we would get a real comparison how good both riders are Adam has pure fitness and Chris pure skill so would be cool to see them push each other.
