Years ago, a friend of mine (a jazz pianist) wanted me to play bass guitar with her for a cover of this song in a high-school concert. I didn't know Chris Botti so i searched this song on KZbin and this is the video i've found. I really enjoyed it and here i am, 8 years later searching for this video because when i'm listening to it, it brings me lots of nostalgia and i feel like i'm flying.

I can't get enough of Chris' music! plus I MET him and he autographed my trumpet! If this isn't inspiration to play I don't know what is--I see his autograph in front of me whenever my horn is against my lips! I started playing and lerning last Christmas, so I have a loooong way to go! LOL :) As a rock n roller, this is quite a change for me and I love it! It started with Herb Alpert tunes and now Chris! If this is what heaven is like, I'm in it now! Trumpets RULE! Thanks Herb and Chris !!!!!

I had the pleasure of seeing Chris Botti last Christmas Eve at the Blue Note in NYC. It was his 10th annual performance. If possible, I'm going back this year. Excellent, intimate venue. Botti is a class act. Side note, Sting is known to be there frequently and is gracious enough to get up on stage when asked.

Favorite version of THE LOOK OF LOVE -- Chris and Chantal : Winnipeg's greatest singer -- Chantal Kreviazuk. Well, greatest since Giselle MacKenzie who left us in 2003. Giselle a darling of early television -- Jack Benny in particular -- Giselle grew up here in the St. Boniface half of Winnipeg where I reside. (We're a city about the same size as San Francisco . . . but a little bit cooler in winter). Yes, a Facebook friend and fellow Chris Botti fan just shared with me a minute ago this video (below). I replied with gratitude, 'Gorgeous. Of course I'm prejudiced in favor of the amazing singer -- who was born here in the "world's coldest major city" (where Chris has performed three times). So beautiful! Thanks for the alert, Hitomi Shiho -- kindred spirit!' According to Wiki: 'Chantal Jennifer Kreviazuk CM (/ʃɑːnˈtɑːl ˌkrɛviˈæzək/; born May 18, 1974) is a Canadian singer, songwriter, composer, pianist, and actress. Born in Winnipeg.' Thanks, falafelov for sharing! Celebrated this day at SinatraFamily.com -- Forums -- "Siriusly Sinatra" -- MY FAVORITE VERSION -- YOURS TOO? sinatrafamily.com/forum/showthread.php/50225-My-Favorite-Version-%28yours-too-%29?p=1273806#post1273806

Saw Chris a few years ago in Toronto at Massey and as good as his album is, nothing compares to a live session. My gf and I thought it was one of the best performances we've seen live period. Nice treat Steve Tyler got up and played drums as he was in vocal rest. If you get a chance, attend a concert of his.. You will not be disappointed.
