I've been supporting Chris Broussard as one of the best analysts but past few weeks, he keeps making excuses for Lebron and same goes for Shannon. I don't agree with Skip's pure hate towards Lebron either. Everyone knows Lebron is not the same as he used to be and he is definitely not the best player this season. Chris and Shannon keep saying he's the best player with their only argument as the 4th seed before the injury but they don't mention that at that time they were 2 games from being the 10th seed and Lakers had the 3rd easiest schedule in the beginning of the season. Lebron missed 18 games but what about the other 64 games. Lakers are loosing to below 0.500 teams with Lebron but then the excuse is they don't have enough help when in fact Lebron chose Lakers as a FA when he had the choice of joining Philly or Houston.

Skip is correct on most of his points. I believe what makes Skip so pationate about his opinions, is the fact that media very often diminish other players contributions in Lebron's team and and as if Lebron is the only one that has to be credited for everything. People forgot Ray Allens clutch 3pt and that great rebound from C.Boss. People forgot that Cavs dethroned Warriors with K.Irving averaging 27.1 points and hitting the clutch shots. He get so many passes on things that others are critiqued so heavily, because he is LJ, the best player in the world ( who actually is not t the moment). Nevertheless, Skip has him in his all time great top 10 and argueably he is. To adress your main point, Lebron is the face of this league and they can't simply spoil their product, because what if the next product is not sellng as well as LJ?

to shannon's point about MJ not making the playoffs in washington and playing all 82 games but noone said he was padding his stats well thats because mj has always said he plays all 82 if not atleast 80 because he feels a responsiblity to show the children watching him a great so he can inspire them because he never know if its someones first time seeing him live. his career of playing for the fans is evidence to that where as lebron on the basketball court hasnt really done anything for fans so its easier to question his motives for putting up the stats that he does. And to the point of lebron can easily put up triple doubles easily i believe that is the reason he has lost more in the finals then he has won. Mj could easily get a triple double that was proven when he played point guard and got 10 triple doubles in 11 games but jordan realised that to win he would have sacrifice some stats to win so he could be a defensive and offensive star.
