Not a good idea in the playoffs though. Limited number of games, and you don't want to play more games than necessary in the playoffs, you want as much rest as possible, especially with an older team. Nobody is guaranteed any wins and if they're not focused they're probably gonna lose. See 2004 Lakers vs Pistons, 2011 Heat vs Mavs, etc etc. When facing a younger team with a good coach you don't wanna mess around; if the Celtics decide to just get out and run in game 2 they could run the Cavs right out the building.
