That’s how people of today give the game such a bad taste in my mouth with their arguments. SCORING is not the only aspect of basketball in terms of saying who is the better player. If you want to say Kd is the best scorer sure! But overall all round player he is not above lebron James. Thats just basketball law. From elementary to college coaches have players do drills of scoring, passing, rebounding, and defensive drills. Kd only has scoring over lebron in those areas of the game. Marcellus said Kd at 6’11 showed his defensive prowess with the warriors but it didn’t stand out. Wasn’t even enough to gain a defensive 3rd team nod.

The best way to sum up the comparison is KD let the Warriors comeback from 3-1 on him and Lebron came back from 3-1 on the Warriors. People will say he was playing Westbrook (who was also there when they went up 3-1), but Lebron was playing with Kyrie who like Westbrook is a bad shot taker he just has a better propensity to make them. Yet both can hurt the team with those decisions. The difference is Lebron is a real alpha vs KD and will command respect as the leader.
