Kobe pulls on the heart strings man. He is in the top 5 for me and is possibly the greatest if he was more efficient. Besides the many more other accolades Jordan just created a sizeable space between them. The other part is mostly just hate from most because you can’t almost have two of the same guys at the top and one is better. Lebron’s got the gift but his constant rebuilding teams, and late game chokes including free throws is just yuck to me. Personally I like Kobe better, but sheesh Lebron is a goat in a completely different way with his incredible shape and endurance, just performing at this level this long is a longevity case for sure. None of them could do that. Can’t stand his crybaby attention seeking attitude but it is what it is. Jordan just has it all including the journey all the way from a young lad. So wants you mention him that’s pretty much it.

He stacked the decks the same way KD did and he did it FIRST. Besides, KD went to GS by himself. Bron went to Miami along with another star. @@drmwpn i’m 40 years old. I saw Jordan starting in 1990 and I just remember his clutch shot making, defense, underrated, defensive, rebounding, and just the wheel to win. He cared so much. Not losing in the finals. I’ve watched LeBron his entire career. the way he played against the Boston Celtics in game six or five whichever one that was where he had like 45 points and played out of his mind… That was a regular game for Michael Jordan. I think if the kids could just understand that then they would understand why he’s on a different level. Kevin Durant has shown flashes of that obviously and he is really really good but to be better than Michael Jordan or even considered you have to do that multiple times in the finals when it matters the most and unfortunately for him those two rings and Golden State barely count. It’s such typical thinking of this generation that they could just take the easy way out and go straight to the top and pass up everyone without putting the work in.

If you look at what they did during careers that are significantly shorter than those of MJ, LeBron and Kareem, you might understand what I mean. Bird and Magic won 8 titles between them in 10 seasons. Bird played only 11 seasons and played with a broken back for 5 of those years. Magic played in 9 Finals in 12 seasons and took the Lakers to the Final after only a year without Kareem. The only reason they did not win more rings was because they literally had to beat each other to do it. And both of them was with only ONE team during their careers. They did not jump from team to team cherrypicking teammates.
