I think Chris is such a Brandy Stan that he wanted to be low-key and let her have free reign over the song. He also co-wrote her song “Slower” with Sevyn who talked about how much they were geeking out about just letting her sing on their track.

@@briannaaudain928 there is a distinct difference. Let me point out 1 place for you. CB has the autotune turned up more which gives him his "electronic", distorted tone that he likes. Brandy's pitch is so precise that her vocals are known to cancel out the autotune because she has perfect pitch leaving the pitch corrector with little to do. Here her tone is clear and the autotune makes her vocals smoother because her stacks are completely in unison and sounds like 1 instead of multiple tracks stacked together.
