I always get a kick out of how good the camera work is in nascar. Well, any motorsports. Slow mo was incredible. I also like the new next gen designs of nascars.

Whoever manufactures those tethers deserves a raise. If that thing broke loose it could’ve easily been whipped into the grandstands. And I’m not sure if anybody else noticed this or not but that was one of the fastest responses I’ve ever seen. The emergency vehicles were pulling onto the track before Buescher was even completely done wrecking.

@@kbentjg24 Peters 2017 Texas too, but nothing like Buescher. Both of those were essentially sent rolling by digging in or already being airborne, but the tire didn't help that 17 stay on the ground tonight. Bizarre crash

so do open wheels cars the reasons for that is many but for nascar its to fold to promote better airflow going from under the front splitter to the year diffuser for better racing and 2 to prevent parts that would normally fly everywhere on the older cars in crash like this from leaving the vehicle at all

Tires go on,then come off at pit stops. They said a strap was attached to the tire which dug into the turf, which flipped the car. Or is that strap attached to a Part of the suspension system??

The only commentator that had brains was McMurray. You can EASILY see the right front wheel was totally in tact and in proper position with no wishbone/A-frame issue. IT WAS A DRAIN that was hit. What at TM 00:13-00:14 the right front folds when it hits the drain and THAT'S what sent the car into the flip/roll

The tire dug into the turf...so it is the turf that caused it. It wasn't going to dig into the Asphalt and flip. Thanks turf!
