aramchek I have absolutely no problem with Pat getting sober imo his best album is all about the ins and outs of maintaining a clean and healthy life when substances were once an integral aspect of his identity. Nor do I have a problem with him leaving the scene, all I’m saying is that he was pillar of the folk punk community and few acts (if any honestly) rival him in terms of songwriting

Assuming you are talking about DIY another day, I really do enjoy it. Jesus Bus hits particularly close for me with it's acceptance of individual growth while still being able remember the memories fondly even while acknowledging we can't go back. Maybe I'm interpreting it differently than Chris had when writing it, but that's beauty of art isn't it. Good luck in any, and all endeavors!
