It's doesn't surprise me considering that it is after all Chris Chan that we're watching play with legos, but it seems almost too eerie to observe Chris Chan re-enact a dialog he might very well had with his parents at some point. Most of Chris' trolls aren't smart or clever which is why they flock to him. They'd come off as extremely cringy try-hards if they did it to anyone else. They still come off as cringy try-hards, but Chris' overbearing cringy-ness overpowers theirs and they don't look as bad as they actually are. It’s because like with most think Chris says he doesn’t know why he believes what he believes. The homophobic ideals implemented by his parents is what caused most of the backlash. His comic was childish and pretty harmless, just look at the sexual fan art of Sonic we have today Although predating the normality of sexual reimaginings, i believe it wouldn't of caused a shitstorm if he wouldn't of been homophobic and racist. A lot of the fault of Chris' actions fall on the hands of his parents and online trolls manipulating him to be the punching bag he was for the internet. Most say Chris was in control of his own actions, but a person with his mental condition is easy to influence. We may blame Chris for acting the way he did, but I still dont think it was all his fault. I find Chris/Christine very very interesting, and very artistic and skilled. The people who constantly berate him/her for his/her actions lack any sense of creativity or skill, and use his/her torment as a way to justify their own insecurities. Yes, his previous actions from 2007-2009 were humorous, but I think of him/her as more of a martyr for other mentally disabled people. Instead of continuing his passion with what he loved, he was ridiculed to a point where he lives in constant fear and paranoia from people online. This became just a long rant on my cigarette break at work but I just enjoy talking about Christory. A very unique situation that not only influenced me to pursue my artistic endeavors, but also taught me to not take others opinions too seriously when it comes to what I love doing (making music) We can all learn a little something from Chris/Christine's life, and use it to influence our own talents. Not really. The past 12 months have taken place from Part 7 until now. They tell him what to do, but never even put a second of thought to see if he took their advice and talk to him about it. He’s clearly a child that’s starved for the attention he’s never gotten from his parents and is seeking it out from the only place he knows he can find even a modicum of human interaction. The internet. I mean, come on! They never heard their son screaming at the top of his lungs a couple rooms over through YEARS of constant harassment. Even if they’re so old that they couldn’t hear it (which is tremendously unlikely), if they took one second to take an interest in their sons life and go, “Chris, what’s going on with you?” You know he would have rambled on for hours. But they didn’t ask, because they’re either too self involved or too impatient to care. I don’t know the end to this story, but almost everything that happened to Chris in the end is on them.
