I do think it's possible to bring chris back to reality, unless he has legitimately developed schizophrenia or something. The trouble is whenever someone tries to talk some sense to him, he can just retreat to the internet where trolls and assorted idiots will just feed into his delusion so he never has to give it up. Sometimes I wonder if people who try to help out Chris know that he has a whole documentary. Chris is one of the easiest people to learn about, I wonder if there is an angle of “denial” To me this really came full force with the Keffals situation. No research, no attempt to understand how Chris got to where he is now, and no acknowledgment of just how series his delusions are. I mean to me, the best way to help someone is to learn about them. I really do wish Chris was able to be helped. I wish Daniel Larson could be helped. It feels almost unfortunate, but accepting that the disabled have agency in their own lives means accepting that some will make the worst choices available, and reject any help in getting their shit together. Otaku King clearly has a very sweet soul, and seems generally optimistic, perhaps to a fault. Even if he does come around to accepting that Chris is someone who doesn't want to be helped, he'll still probably hold onto a shred of hope that, eventually, Chris's mind will change, even though in the here-and-now, it's not worth the effort to actively try and help out.

Otaku King is a KZbinr with a struggling channel, and any publicity would help him get noticed by more people. There are rumors/rumblings that Chris is going to try to change it again to "Christ Chan Sonichu Jesus Weston Chanler Prime" but considering how silly that new legal name is and how Chris already changed their name twice I doubt the courts will allow it. Virginia has pretty strict laws for legal names like not being allowed to name yourself slurs, swear words, or something profane, provocative, or politically motivated.

I think Otaku King is a good person with genuine good intentions. He was committed to helping Chris. But once hearing about barb it looks to me that he doesnt mean to excuse SA. The good ending for me is that he becomes boring again. People stop watching and donating. Of course Chris will keep uploading but no one will listen to his rambling. With no audience the people taking advantage of him move on. Chris will eventually run out of money and will have to join a facility that can watch over him. Barb will peacefully slip into oblivion. The bad ending is that this keeps going on, Chris keeps thinking he's God. People new to him keep giving him views and money. Only for him to waste it on games, toys and trips to Cons. The people taking advantage of him will keep milking him for money. Eventually Chris will do something or say something that will get him cancelled. He'll end up in the streets and Barb will peacefully slip into oblivion.

KZbin is a privilege and it has taken tougher stances for way less; it is certainly not consistent. They should not only de-monetize but de-platforn Chris for his own benefit to end potential exploitation. Chris' name going into the registry might not be to his benefit. He's going to be an indigent pauper for the remainder of his life and no doubt will need to rely on subsidized housing; those public services may exclude people on certain lists. Listing a person probably isn't used purely as a punitive measure in every case. Besides Barb probably still loves Chris and should live the rest of her days knowing her son will be OK; there is a certain justice to that. One would hope with all the evaluations the mental health professionals concluded Chris' chances of hurting anyone else was nil with the correct support system. If some kid is found pinned under Chris in the future something got missed.
