Finally an interview where the journalist actually knows what is in the book ! Thank you for this video.

Yaa. I once saw a Ben Platt interview and the interviewer described Dear Evan Hansen someone like a high school student who manipulates his dead classmate's grieving family for his own popularity. And Ben Platt was like wtf (in mind). Like everything that they were trying to convey was in vain. (if you know what I'm talking about 😂)

No shits this is a true story: Before I knew what Glee was about, before I had even heard of Kurt Hummel or Chris Colfer, I just knew that I liked books, and I liked fanfiction. I was walking around a bookstore one day, and the title of this book caught my eye in particular. I did a quick overview of the cover aesthetics and read the summary, eventually deciding to purchase the book. It was on my shelf for a while as I already had a ton of other stuff to finish beforehand. I had never paid much attention to the author's name on the cover. Then I binge watched Glee one day when there was nothing else to see, and I fell in love with Chris' character. I have finished glee, and I have found that Chris is not only a talented performer, but an amazing person and writer. Now this morning, at 3:30, I just saw the title to this video. I walked to my dusty shelf and pulled out this book that I had planned to read at some point or another. There it was, that name. Chris Colfer... Funny how life works like that sometimes huh?

Kinda happened the same with me but with TLOS! The series started when I was in upper elementary school and all my friends were obsessed, but I never got the hype. I saw glee a while back and Kurt was my favorite character, and then I connected all the dots. Now I can't wait to read the series

I've just read "Stranger than fanfiction" and it was amazing! Very fun, suddenly touching, and very in time for me, a young adult. I had a guess that author is an actor himself, but it took me completely off guard then someone said his name outside of book writing context. I haven't realised I already "knew" him even before I read his book

so one day in late 2017 im walking thru barnes & noble and i see this book. now me, being an avid fan girl, thought the title looked interesting and bought it. it is still my favorite book, regardless of author. now i read it, like it, and put it on my shelf where it stays for 2 years. cut to this week. i just finished binge watching the show and its official, hes my first celebrity crush (i felt the urge to add that🤣). i was on google looking to see the movies he was in incase i wanted to check them out. one of the tabs said "books" and i decided to click on it. scrolling down, i see the familiar cover of my favorite book that kept me entertained during a rough emotional time. and i froze. i staired at my screen in shock. i know i sound dramatic (which i am) but this book is genuinely something that helped me get thru school that year, in collaboration with others of course, but it was still my favorite. after i get over the initial shock, i trip going over to my book shelf and open the book to the back plastic thingy, when i see his face. it made me want to cry knowing that such an influential book just happened to be written by my favorite actor. anyway, the point is life is crazy and chris colfer is the most handsome and talented man besides george Salazar

When I first read The Land of Stories I had no knowledge of who he was at all. I *NEVER* and I mean *NEVER* pay attention to the author's name and I rarely ever even look at the author's name if I'm reading a book. But something about that he had his picture on the back, or that maybe I just liked the way his name sounded, (still do ❤) but I decided to look him up. No clue why. At all. That day, my whole life changed. And that was only about a month or 2 ago. My life is *COMPLETELY* different now, and I'm currently reading A Tale of Magic, after having read The Land of Stories series once and a half. I got it 3 days ago, and I'm already more than half way through 😂 I love him so much and I always will. If I ever get to meet him, (which I hope to God will happen) my honest thoughts would be non existent bc I would be passed out. ❤ It would be a good 2 seconds though. ✌

Some person: "Can we get Chris Colfer to play Jack in the Land of Stories movie?" Me: "Chrissie? Are you nuts? He's my boy!" Same some person: "He would've been a great Jack. Okay, then. Ahem. Can we get Austin Butler to play Jack then?" Me: "He's always gonna be Elvis in my heart!" Same some person: "Whoa! Dude, chill! How about Drake Rodger? You know that boy who was with Meg Donnelly from The Winchesters?" Me: "I don't think he would want to be Jack. He's still John Winchester to me." Same some person: "Okay. Would Chris Colfer be okay with Ross Lynch from Austin & Ally to be Jack? Or should I go introduce him to Zac Efron and Ricardo Hurtado from The Really Loud House? You know, the boy who played Leni's boyfriend Chase that she loved too much in that episode where Clyde takes over the Loud House for a day, then Luna sang about how Chase was Leni's true love and they got back together again?" Me: "Ricardo Hurtado's okay. Yes." Same some person: "What about Goldilocks? Is Meg Donnelly okay to play the role or do you want Dove Cameron?" Me: "Meg's okay. I'm obsessed with her." Same some person: "Alex and Conner?" Me: "Let's do Ava Liz Torres and Wolfgang Schaeffer." Same some person: "Deal!"
