Such a beautiful song. I needed a reminder that none of us are immune to hurt, heartbreak, and grieving. Thank you for posting.

Hey, thanks man! For this session we put MD21 as vocals mics and put AT4050s in front of the guitars. In addition there was a single FLEA47 in the back of the room.

Hi, i'm trying to parse this song, almost finished, i'll write you as finish (if you still need it) :)

I think for the most part he's kind of built it around a Cadd 9 chord, holding the comon notes on his B and high E and simply walking his bass notes around he can get into a G maj, some sort of Asus4 type thing, and I think an E minor 7th occasionally. The chorus introduces a Dmaj, and he quits holding his comon/drone notes for a more resolved sort of feel.

It isn't wallpaper. It's split wood stacked up tight. It creates an amazing acoustic backdrop that randomly absorbs, diffuses, and reflects sound. If you see that framed wooden thing that sits on the brick wall behind Chris Hardwyck on Talking Dead, Talking Saul , etc... those are used in recording studios for the same purpose. They are particularly useful in making a small acoustic space sound more open and natural.

Practice! Those two have been making and performing music together a lot. Interestingly though, I remember Joey being really discontent with his performance that day
