When you listed a bunch of publishers who are forced to uphold publishing standards I balked. As a former long term consumer of these publications I got sick of misleading news, establishment framed narratives the biased, misleading and agenda driven/curated material has proved to me that publishing standards mean nothing. @@edman58 Podcasters can twist facts whether fact checkers review the information or not, but it is better to open the fact finding efforts to society as a whole, instead of a small few, who tend to be a certain profile of society and not a balanced representative of it in general. Accordingly, fact checking efforts tend to be weighted towards finding falsehoods in information outside their ideology. Anyone who sees democratisation of fact finding as a negative should take as deep and meaningful look at themselves.

In concept, you are correct. There are two major problems with legacy media. 1. They employee people of highly questionable documented character. People with documented perverted financial incentives, and people who have demonstrated that they are racist, homophobic, Etc. And that’s OK? And they are known liars. Why is it still permitted? 2. You stated all of the validation and positioning that’s required to bring information to television atNewsNation. And even with all that, errors are still made across the legacy landscape. I will never take up for the right and I won’t do it for the left because they both have a fundamental problem. They are too busy focused on selling and not about information directed sharing. That’s a problem across the entire media landscape. Your network alone makes 40-50% of their ad revenue with drug airtime. How many investigations does your network do against the pharmaceutical industry that they should? And yes, that goes for all the networks who are far worse than NN. In fact NN is pretty damn good because the argument is mostly authentic. Your frustration is only going to increase as advertisers demand more, and therefore make it more difficult for publishers when they are making content to be more “provocative”. Congrats, the industry dating back Decades is responsible for delivering less than truthful information. And people like Tim Poole are the blowback. Legacy media ALLOWED Tim Poole to be created. Legacy media helped Donald Trump get elected because of the same provocation!!! The Vatican flipped out when Gutenberg created the printing press. Why? Because they no longer controlled the narrative if people can read themselves. Same problem here democratization of content all because ALL LEGACY MEDIA bends a story a certain way and then it gets out of control. Even the 4 Gospels are 2nd hand accounts and billions of people take them at its word. Want to fix the problem? Execute the truth. Wanna make money? Be provocative. But please, don’t lie about legacy at MSNBC CNN FOX. The receipts fill up a warehouse. In the marketplace of ideas, be better. And remember, some people just want echo chambers from the Bible to MSNBC/Fox.

Chris, you're so smart! My Daughter and I love you! I don't do social media, but I enjoy YT. You mentioned smoking. My lungs are so f'd, so I don't do the flower anymore, but the edibles are excellent for my insomnia. I take a couple about an hour before laying down, and am able to fall asleep and stay asleep for about 5-6 hours. Edibles also help take the edge off the physical pain. ❤Much love!
