Great interview. I was at the Masters Sunday when Chris and Tiger battled. Twenty years later still one of the greatest golf memories I have.

Great interview. I was at the Canadian open around 18th green watching that shot of Tiger's come in when he won. A great memory I share with my son.

Great show, subscribers should be 100k plus. But the remote interviews, nah. I am eternally boycotting anything remote or zoom oriented. But still, every golf junkie should know this channel.

Someone should tell him he can still qualify for and play on the PGA Tour if he wants more money.

DiMarco crying about the purses on the Champions Tour is a joke. The Champions Tour is mostly a fraternity of those who played well on the PGA Tour, and guys like Alker have to jump through a million hoops to just qualify for an event (he did, and look what happened once he got his chance), whereas those with good careers on the PGA tour basically get unlimited starts with no restrictions. People like Bernard Langer and Ernie Els are a disgrace. These guys have wives who took care of children during their primes, yet they trot around everywhere and are in every tournament from the moment they turned 50. The pin positions and lack of trouble on the course makes for a tour that is not worth watching. Never any water hazards, and every hole two out of the three players has a ten footer for bird, at worst. The same guys clog the leaderboard every week, and they have the same hierarchy that never changes. First tier is Stricker Harrington and Alker, second tier is Miguel Angel Jimenez and Ernie Els, next tier is David Toms and similar, then you have the bottom tier who can't win yet clog up the field....guys like Corey Pavin and Jeff Maggert. It is brutal. Without the betting on it, nobody would ever watch anymore, then you have fat face Lanny Watkins announcing....ain't that right Billy Ray...whaddya say Cookie? They should play for zero dollars.

Dimarco was running away with that Masters in the third round. The delay until the next day to play the last nine was huge. Of course, Tiger went on his run while Dimarco struggled to score as they finished up the third round (they way it had to be...like, could it have been that Dimarco opened up by more and Tiger struggled when they came back Sunday? Of course not).

Chris... If the Champions Tour went away no one would really miss it. Be fortunate that you HAVE a tour to play in your mid 50's.

Playing for $300k with a $3M purse isn't enough for no cut, 54 hole senior golf exhibitions! He should be bemoaning LIV because they snatched away the Champs Tour's biggest star! Maybe Dimarco is just hoping for some of that guaranteed dough because he's a non factor on any tour now!

No Doubt at all that Jon Rahm is a talented golfer. But, a few days ago he was reminiscing about playing with the best players in the world and how he missed the competition. If he didn't get greedy and take all the LIV money he would still be playing against the best players, looks like another player who thinks he's entitled to take the money and still have the opportunity to play on the PGA Tour.
@tomdallas3690

He did the right thing. LIV used him as leverage and now a deal will be made. Rahm was the turning point that really is forcing the issue. He won two majors, and will be playing in majors from now until the end of his career. He left just in time. He deserves the money because without a player like Rahm, LIV didn't have the leverage. Sure, they have DJ and others, but they needed a Rahm or Rory, or even a Spieth or Scheffler. Rahm did right by setting up his family for about 50 generations. PGA tour was virtue-signaling the whole way, yet they are caving in as well. When it comes to money everyone is of the same religion. United States got hundreds of years of free labor off of slaves, and they now virtue-signal to the rest of the world about morals. And it trickles down to scams like the PGA tour which is laughably a charity and therefore pays no taxes. Monahan is a loser, as well. Took himself way too seriously when the trouble started, yet didn't take LIV seriously enough before the trouble started. Network telecasts are horrific. Never any personal interest stories of fringe players like you have on this podcast. Never a video of the locker room, or the players getting dropped off at the course. These are all things that people would actually be interested in. Never an explanation of why a pro should hit a 3wood or iron instead of driver when needing to play safe. For the average hacker, the driver is by far the safest play off the tee under pressure, as the everyday golfer might hit an iron 20 yards under pressure. Plus 9 out of 10 commentators say further when the correct word is farther. It is just never-ending dumb stuff. CBS admitted that the bird sounds at the Masters are all fake. Nobody on the planet has ever seen any type of animal on that course, not even a fish jumping in the water, let alone a bird or a squirrel. There is no other life there, just the ghosts of slavery.

The issue I have with the players who left for the LIV tour is that they all joined LIV knowing that their defection could cause the elimination of the PGA tour. If LIV succeeded in signing the 50 top players that would have in effect destroyed the PGA tour. A majority of the rest of the players under the top 50 would be subject to losing their career and income. The players who left eventually admitted it was for money, and they knew full well that their decision would drastically effect other peoples lives, and they just didn't care. Sure it was a monetary windfall for them but character wise it showed the world that they were willing to destroy the tour that gave them a living as well as destroying other players opportunities. On the surface it it looks like they made a smart business decision but their decision showed the world their lack of concern for their fellow tour players. In my opinion the players who left put greed over ethics, but everyone has their own opinion. @@tomdallas3690

You guys are remembering four years ago when the PGA was top tour but at this time LIV has 80% of top players and it is really fun to watch. Can’t wait for Friday to come 😉⛳️😇😊

Let's not forget, Chris Dimarco was thought of as a "d**k" and a jerk on the regular tour as well. His take on LIV buying the Champions Tour is one more reason to dislike him. Very few people watch the Champions Tour. I happen to be one of them. They're lucky the tour for seniors even exists. I went to a Champions event and other than a couple friends of the pro, Justin Leonard, and the mother of the Youth on Course player, I was the only one following the group. Leonard went on to place second, coming very close to tying it up. It was great not fighting a crowd and being so close to an elite player like Leonard, but I felt bad for him. Funny thing is there was no entrance fee and I was the only fan watching this guy. So give me a break Dimarco, you think PIF is that stupid?
