I have to give Chris credit for being up front and honest! He is very handsome and seems like a really nice guy! You’ve just met! Get to know one another and see where the relationship goes. I know it was very hard for her to process that new info but I still respect him for his honesty. Quite a few people are dissing him for that honesty but, in truth, many people present as authentic & turn out to be complete snakes. Right now he's choosing either women OR men, instead of saying he's bisexual and dates whomever he happens to have feelings for... He is looking for the right person. He is able to have an attraction to more than one gender. That does not mean he has to be physically or emotionally involved with more than one gender at a time. He said he desires monogamy and is seeking the right person and for 6 years he has not found that person with men. He very well may find that person in a woman. Thus he is dating with no secrets, and a desire to connect to the right person. Isn't that what all people who date are trying to do? His honesty and genuineness is very special. He will make someone a great partner in life. And.... when you find the right person there is no need to compete with anyone, ever. They are with you because they choose to be with you. You have to trust in your choice and not be fearful, no one else can be you so there is no competition. Treat your partner right and if they are the right one they do the same. Comparing yourself to others is always a path to doom.

@M Pro from experience, this is not a good idea. I felt the need to bring up my past on first dates. It really started off my relationships with a little bump to get over and small insecurities. I stopped letting my past define me and my new relationships blossomed very well. Then, I would bring up my past after a couple of months of dating. The person already got to know me and accepted me the way I was.
