I once saw Chris play in the back room of a local music shop in Wisconsin. I remember the stage was raised about 2 steps above the ground, and there couldn't have been more than 20 folding chairs in two rows, and Chris came in with a silver face Twin Reverb and cranked that sucker to max volume in this tiny little room. Pretty sure my ears were bleeding after one song, but I learned a lesson that Chris doesn't sacrifice his tone for anybody.

I've been watching a lot of videos of Chris and unfortunately he seems to struggle keeping the guitar in tune. Like Hendrix he's still amazing even when out of tune but it can be remedied.
