Was cruisin Beach Boy music, came across this. Wasn't sure I liked it at first but really an enjoyable listen as an instrumental.

Hi there. First of all thank you for taking a few minutes to listen and comment, it is much appreciated. Secondly, yes I can understand your comment too. I've always loved the Beach Boys sound and the instrumental was really trying to echo some of their beautiful harmonies, particularly in this song. I'm glad it eventually settled with you and I suppose like other music, a new approach can take a while to 'grow on you'. Thanks again though. Maybe have a look at other music on my channel to see if there's anything that appeals. Best wishes, Chris :)

Hi Eric, thanks a lot mate. As you'll remember, I did this one last week (Perth) but just wanted to put it to some Tallship scenes for a friend... it seems to work. I hope you're having fun in the studio there. Keep well, Best, Chris :)

Hi Chris, there is indeed an echoe from the past coming up when I hear this classic. I was in the German border protection police in 1966 and I remember the release of this song very well. Your rendition takes up the rhythm of it perfectly, clean and clear sound and a fine video too - thumbs up from me! Take care - Peter

Hi Peter, thank you for taking the time to listen to my cover and for your kind comment. I'm glad it gave you some memories. You must have had many good times and some hard things to do in your job and I salute you for all the things you must have experienced. This track has always been a favourite of mine too. I went to Perth Western Australia in 1966 with my parents - the world was a lot bigger then and Australia was so far away from home in Liverpool (we came home again in 1968 but went out again 1972 until 1975). We live on the Wirral over the Mersey from Liverpool. Maybe have a look at my U Tube movie of Perth which includes this track and two others of the time. Thanks again Peter and I hope you are well. Best wishes, Chris :)
