I think that they really appreciate what they've done and who they've chosen to be. I completely understand why some actors do get grumpy; they wanted to perform, and didn't necessarily ask for fame and fortune, but there's something so special about actors who really love every part of the job, even the unexpectedly stressful or tiring bits. Also, I think that these three are helped by having been integral parts of a franchise; obviously the boys are old hat at the Marvel thing but there's something very very particular about being a Who star that has an actor truly loving that feeling of being part of something old and new and borrowed and being brilliantly, bombastically blue.
