The Bing Crosby kind of stuff was on top, but once I started digging I knew there were some keepers in that box. I think I said in the video, but Ray Smith grew up pretty close to where I currently live.

Yes, usually these boxes of 45s for a set price have nothing good in them.

Sometimes we get lucky with this type of purchase, Chris! The King 45's alone are worth it, along with those other independent label releases. I find that those 45's from the 50's and 60's hold up pretty well despite the surface noise, since they basically were considered disposable and not to be cared for in the long term (the horror!). Plus, one can never have enough Bobby Sherman! Thanks for sharing this find!😎

Yeah, older 45s often sound fine after a trip through the rekkid cleaning machine even if they look rough. Of the ones I've spun so far, they've played better than they look, and The Music Machine from the later 60s was hardly played and looks & sounds great.

I still have around 500 singles, from the early 'Sixties through the early 'Eighties, now mostly picture sleeves from '64-'76.

I like the older picture sleeves when you can find them intact.

Best $20 you ever spent!?!? Really cool stuff. I've got some of those..Norma and Linda! Deane Hawley actually did one of my aunt's songs, The Mummy's Bracelet!

Plus I have several dozen rekkids (not shown) that are terrible! Maybe I can spend $10 and send them to you, haha. Cool that you know about artists like Norma & Linda that are new to me.

@@RekkidTalk I don't need anymore extra 45s! My closest Goodwill is gonna be getting about a hundred of mine soon enough. No room! Rekkid store for the better ones. Trying to make room for better ones I want to keep forever.

I probably won't, but it's nice to know I did find some stuff that would be worth selling.

Wow! Great deal. I wish that I could find a box of schlager singles in 20 euros. They should use color codes in records also in now... Black for Black metal...hmm.. other colors are more difficult...

Hi Chris. You could do a video called " Vinyl by the Pool"....man that box is amazing dude. True hunting really pays off. Although, I will be asking for royalty check for using my polka record label on your channel. (Jay Jay Records)

I wonder do you still have active jukeboxes there in bars? That was quite a haul and a bargain price worth risking it. Lots stood out and of course this stuff rarely ends up over here. It's pretty rare to see even sun rekkids too. America sure feels odd and strange at times to me but I've never been there so I'd be glad it's technically the same language for a start.

Bars with jukeboxes tend to have modern versions where you are just playing mp3 files. I haven't seen an old-school jukebox in a bar in a long time. Yes, America is odd and strange. This box had a lot of stuff that you don't typically find. There's actually going to be a Part 2 with a few things I didn't show yet, once I get around to making it.
