Again, hearing more from people you don’t normally hear from is great. I thought Chris Fowler was a good commentator especially paired with Herbstreit but this interview shows how knowledgeable and articulate he is. Newfound love for CF. And that’s the best part of DPs show- the interviews.

Big media in America abandoned tennis and with very little exposure most talented male athletes opted for other sports. On the women's side, however, there is no other sport where the money is comparable to what men make. If you can handle the travel grind you can make some dough and get noticed.

The US cares very little about Tennis. Sports media goes where the money is....of which CFB is major. Dan is a businessman.

I never liked studio guys like Fowler becoming game announcers and ESPN has annoyed me with the hockey analyst becoming for a while the MNF guy etc but Chris has over the years grown on me. Will be interesting to see what happens with these new mega conferences. And Colorado how good is Sheduer really? That will determine how far they can go.

Good point about the commercials ... are Colleges and the NFL avoiding wearing the sponsorships? the world Football teams wear the logos and make a ton of $$$$$$$

If not for Colorado playing over their heads, week 1 was littered with garbage games. Northworstern vs whatever Ryan McGee calls Rutgers in an afternoon prime slot. Did Fowler and Herbstreet even have to call a game? Good week for DNB (Rest). The # of decent teams with overmatched opponents was ridiculous.
