I'm with you on that. I've watched this match at least 10 times. Whenever it comes across my KZbin feed every once in awhile (like it just did today), I just feel like I have to watch it again because it's so good. Close games. No BS. Just great play by great players. Easily the best match at Capcom Cup that year.

***** Actually Dan taught Sakura, but she does everything better than him xD Ryu was just her motivation after he saved her from getting her head smashed by Bison. Well, at least in the books by Udon. Dunno if it's really Canon or anything.
@x2Madda9 жыл бұрын
The L.A. Notes eh, the canon is in flux as it usually is for works in progress. 'officially' Udon stuff is not considered canon but a lot of the things from the Udon comics do appear in the games. Originally Sakura simply saw Ryu in action and mimicked his moves, Prompting her to follow him in the Alpha series of games where he turns down being her tutor due to considering himself not good enough (which the latter has forever been Ryus' story/endings). This was changed to her "training" under Dan which seems to have stuck for now. I am sure by Streetfighter 5 she will have trained under Akuma/Gouki and chopped a mountain in half before having 5 children with Ryu. Capcom storytelling isn't known for its consistancy (Oh hi, Dead Gouken!).

+bosoxdanc It's probably because it's the best example of a footsies match between a fireball user and a regular rush down character. It just shows you how to deal with both types of characters really well. Sako throws completely safe fireballs the entire set when he knows chris isnt gonna jump and Chris with the intelligence to just walk Sako down with forward walk + block. It's just good ass street fighter.
@mistersuave17458 жыл бұрын
+totallymageful you know that in other street fighters he is still ryu but sakura is kinda weak in the arcade but in vs sakura ken can be strong than sakura in it sakura can not be so strong while ken does so strog sakura cannot apricot any more so ken will hadoken when sakura is not combo its so hard with sako to beat guile but ken can handle any thing so ken is the strongest in vs

Vitor Oliveira You don't have a proper understanding of what "scrub" means, if you did, you wouldn't use it for someone who is actually good at video games. Use an appropriate term if your are trying to be derogatory.
@HumorousLOL11 жыл бұрын
jamie saunders The reason he said "scrub" is because to someone like Sako, ChrisG is a scrub. Chris doesn't have NEAR the amount of tournament and fighting game experience as Sako does, nor the same execution level. Look up Sako in games like Darkstalkers. The combos he does in games like that where execution is everything will make you see what I'm talking about.

***** Should all stop using terms like "beaten", "robbed", "killed" and "destroyed" to describe occurances in a videogame as well? I mean those are all extremely serious issues too are they not? It was painfully obvious that what this person said wasn't made to belittle rape as an issue. They shouldn't have to change their speech patterns because some entitled special snowflake on the internet gets irritable when they read a specific word. That's ridiculous. That would be like me telling people to stop calling terrible things "cancer" because cancer has affected people I care about. Grow up.

The strangest thing about gameplay hear in the U.S. is we have very few top tier players who enjoy using top tier characters. The only players I can think of is Integra whose Ken is what I call controlled chaos, and PR Rog, whose Evil Ryu is a pocket character but not his most loved. I'm sure American players would win Evo if they were in love with top tier characters but that's just not the case. KBrads Cammy might be an exception but that's it. Nemo is the Japanese player I'm most impressed with. By far he has the best Rolento! I tip my hat off to him. The reason why he impresses my the most is not only he is as good in Marvel as most of the top players in America but he did what America does and took a low tier character and won a tournament with that character here in America in the same tournmanent in StreetFighter! The world better be put on notice because Nemo's coming! I think Nemo and Justin Wong "right now" are the only two players in the Fighting game community that has the best chance to win Evo in both Ultra and Marvel. I say Justin because I seen him dominating with a different character (I won't spoil the name of the character) earlier this week. Blew my mind! I never seen him select this character. If he ends up ever liking this character then look out Street Fighter community!
