This trick is insane, I am still working on it but I know my regular shower and box will be so much better if I can finally get the hang of the upsidedown. My problem is that long over the top throw since I'm so used to showering and boxing with my hands close together but I am not giving up so easily.

Hi Christ, very cool tutorial, i liked the siteswap images^.^ But i find it very hard to learn the upsidedown box from the one handed. It is a lot better to learn it from the tennis variation at 3:00 - 3:03 . You only need to make the vertical throws as claw catches and it all comes very intuitiv and natural, its way more comfortable, and i think a lot of beginners can do it without any problems, the one handed upsidedown box i think is hard to learn for newbies. I hope to see more tutorials !:)
@penguinjuggling13 жыл бұрын
@JugglingForCake Ok, I might have been exagerating a little. I was talking about learning it to the point of being able to do at least 100 catches, but as more people have told me how quickly they have learned it, I can see that it is easier than I was thinking. It took me a long time to get it but maybe that's just me.

@penguinjuggling Right, it is awkward, but I've got 6/5 catches in it and looking at the video is looks great! So I guess I'll have to work hard on it and be able to do something you can't, just for the sake of doing that. (I have to also add, upside down box feels GREAT)

@Draitube It really depends on how good of a juggler you are already. It took me 6 months but I didn't work on it every single day for an hour and I already had a solid seven ball pattern. David Furman says it only took him a day to learn it.

@penguinjuggling Thanks! did you see the video by MURA345 called "Box" it is the one I watched right before I finally was able to do the Upsidedown Box, you should check it out if you haven't yet!
@alexanderb54859 жыл бұрын
2.5 months and i've got it for 7 catches. now i continue to improve it. Fast trick , and very sensitive for "columns" quality. You just have no time to compensate errors. My base before this i have started: box and non stable 4/shower :) - so i think that all problems with u-d-box concerned with special technique of simultaneous throw-moveup-catch. I think that noobs have some advantage becase they have no movemet stereotypes of pro-jugglers.

Thanks. I doubt the siteswap "indicators" will become standard though. I had to place each number in every frame of the video and spent about 7 hours on those 20 seconds.

Chris Hodge hollyyy shiiiit dude. Sorry to say but there is a much easier way of doing that 😅
@Heeschh6 жыл бұрын
Isnt the siteswap for box supposed to be 4,1?
@penguinjuggling6 жыл бұрын
It's confusing because a 2x is thrown the same way as a 1. In this case, since the pattern is a synchronized pattern, it is a 2x. Remember that the average of each number in a siteswap is the number balls you're juggling. Box is (4,2x)(2x,4) so 4+2+2+4=12 12/4=3 balls.
@Heeschh6 жыл бұрын
Ohhhh I thought always thought siteswaps just represent throws with numbers BTW your mills mess is so beautiful

@earlobe417 that's wwwaaaayyy exaggerated... I made it up to around 10 catches average in a few days, in all about 3 hours, then in the next weeks I just did half-minutes here and there in the course of my usual juggling (that's how I accidentally started learning stuff (works amazingly, you'd be surprised at how much you learn while you're not juggling ^^) bottom line, its easier than you think

Ok, so I tried to learn this trick a year ago and it went just awful. So I kinda started again yesterday and I used different method (I kinda skipped mastering N-box and tried to do one full cycle from for both sides) and guess what? I made about 10 catches after 30 min. Maybe it would work only for me but now it was just super easy.
