I really enjoy his interviews. His sense of humor is so dry, I love it

yary gork 5 minutes ago (edited) I'm a lucky.. guy too...who plays guitar but doesn't surf. A year after this Chris found a dream home on the ocean. I knew the previous owners of this amazing home. I was on that beach in Ca on a moonlit night, with a gorgeous redhead Linda C. gosh 1996? and it was heaven! We parted ways but the memory is with me forever. I need to write a damn song about it...need help from Chris.... The R. family sadly had to sell their home of about 30 yrs cause a book on cancer flopped. I helped out with the writing of it but books on cancer just dont sell. Chris came along in the nick of time and saved the day! Brent and his Mom loved Chris, but not just for buying the home, and saving the day. (from a banker) . But because Chris is real, humble, kind, and just cool as hell! Right TODD? One evening at dusk I showed Brent how to catch stripers on the beach in the surf. Where Chris must have surfed often. I also transplanted some Echium Tower of Jewels I dug up from Chris's yard which got to 20 ft tall in East Bay. I'm saving room on my old 56 Strat for Chris to sign next to Dick Dale's signature. . Craig Chaquico also signed it. Surf surf and turf.... Where is the old Hammond organ that sat in that window in Chris's living room looking out at the ocean? Chris I hope still has it. Hey Chris I have some amazing photos of your home with the R. family at thanksgiving gosh in the seventies? and more . Chris and his brother would sit outside a coffee shop not far from home and play for spare change, then go in and eat when they earned enough! Most people had no idea who it was. I saw another Mr. Lucky (John Lee) in the city one time. What a voice. Imagine a duet with Chris and John Lee Hooker? gyork@earthlink.net oh...and the story of the Mt Lion that lived there years back walking on the beach? I hope Brent told Chris about that one.

I love how this guy says Baja incorrectly. Nothing to do in Baja. It reminds me of a few vacations I have had near Mexico.....in Southern CA
