That was great I have Wrestlemania 19 on DVD the commentary was great and the match was solid. Chris Jericho stealing the nick up and sweet chin music. Shawn laying on top of the ropes like he was bored at the beginning of the match was a great comedy relief.

I love that part where the HBK vs Y2J WM 19 match planning was actually composed of HBK's idea of the beginning and Y2J' idea of the ending. Even funnier the moment they reveal their ideas to each other. 😂😂😂

That was a great WrestleMania. I was dead broke at the time and got lucky. My friend won two tickets from a radio station. IMO the Angle/Lesnar match was better but.... The Jericho/Michaels was a close second.

There was a match at the house shows that Jericho, Angle and Benoit use to work this were some of the best matches Ive ever seen. Angle and Benoit would go back and forth on seeing which could suplex Jericho the hardest. Jericho would take some awesome bumps from both of those guys. shocked that Jericho didn't say that Benoit was one of the because they certainly work well together.

IIRC Shawn wrestled a bunch of times after Summerslam 2002. I mean he won the World Heavyweight Championship in Elimination Chamber, Survivor Series 2002. Then lost the title in Armaggedon. I think the Highlight reel Jericho mentioned was after Shawn lost the title.

It was Shawn's first WM match in 5 years. Before his rivalry with Y2J he wasn't even a full-time star at that point.

Nah, the match was perfect. HBK would job in 5 of the next 7 WM matches to end his career, but many turned out to be matches of the year like against Undertaker, Kurt, and Flair. But on that night at WM 19 it was the right call for him to go over.
