I do like that they're giving Hobbs a shot at the World Title, he's somebody that should be one of their biggest stars right now but isn't for various reasons and I think he's put in enough work to warrant a shot at it. I'd be so shocked if he wins it next week but I appreciate that they're still doing something with him now even after losing against Takeshita, I'm happy that he's getting an opportunity

The whole Death Riders story has definitely lost traction for sure though and that's unfortunate because it was the biggest angle in the company just a couple months ago, so it needs some sort of shot in the arm soon.

Losing to Moxley after just losing to Takeshita is not a good call. He's gonna sell like crazy for a balding out of shape cosplaying martial artist and lose clean. There isn't a single good reason that Hobbs hasn't been pushed at all, has made no progress towards becoming one of the top stars in AEW. He's been stagnant on the midcard since being introduced 4(?) years ago. Basically everyone on the card is right where they were 4-5 years ago, with the exception of guys with little to no upside like Orange Cassidy, Daniel Garcia & Wheeler Yuta. AEW gives me a headache

Why didn’t the Jamie and Julia storyline continue? It’s sad how long it takes for anything to grow in AEW. Storylines are either never completed or they take years to move an inch.
