Just another reason he deserves that C. Such a good dude, a great hockey player, a team leader both on and off the ice, and yet so down to Earth, not full of himself. An excellent specimen of a human.

I know he should have had the C already. He mentors and helps his fellow players and has been a leader on and off the ice for years. I just love seeing him with the kids because you can see the joy and bliss those interactions on the ice gives him. To see him in the video hurting talking about Emma broke my heart. Got me crying. Just wanted to give him a hug poor thing. That is the hard part when you are someone that has empathy and cares so much.

I respectfully disagree due to the fact of his inconsistency throughout the season.

A friend of mine from college went to high school with him and had nothing but good things to say about him even at the age when a big man on campus could get a huge ego.
