Over a couple years of one life event leading to another event I have 10 years drug and alcohol free. Another time I was tired of not going anywhere in life so I asked in sincere prayer to change my situation of always struggling with my structure of life. God is an identity, and this identity resides within us. In Samkhya philosophy, this inner essence is referred to as Purusha, the pure consciousness that defines our true self. Yogis have developed practices to establish a direct connection with Purusha through the disciplines of Yoga. While Samkhya serves as a theoretical framework, Yoga is its practical application. Together, they form a harmonious whole: Samkhya provides the philosophical insight, and Yoga offers the path to actualize it. Importantly, Yoga is a philosophy rooted in self-realization and not a religion.

The point is, Chris Langan is not merely some eccentric individual quoting the Bible. The issue lies in the fact that religion, as a human construct, often fails to provide ultimate truth. Psychologically, what atheists tend to reject is not necessarily the concept of God but rather the institutional and doctrinal frameworks of religion itself. By definition, whatever underpins existence-whatever is the ultimate cause or foundation of reality-could be understood as 'God.' It’s ultimately a matter of semantics and interpretation.

This is assuming people are paying attention. Anybody who ignores this man is stupid. what scares me is, if a guy like this is ignored, I don't know what to say. But ignoring this guy is a monumental mistake. My message to the authorities is to listen to this man. God help us. If we need you-tube to tell us who is the smartest or who has the best plan. The smartest man would know the history of Christianity. He would know that the foundation of Christianity is in the Hebrew bible and that Christianity does a 180 degrees from scriptures. He would know that Constantine the Roman emperor assigned the council of Nicaea to create a religion based on pagan ideas which is why Christianity went 180 degrees in the opposite direction from its foundational existence.

I am certainly no expert on Langan's ideas (or religion for that matter), but what I've gotten from listening to his interviews is that God isn't punishing people. He's giving them a choice -- to perfection or imperfection -- and if they choose imperfection -- refusing God -- their souls will be removed from God when their bodies die. That absence of God is the punishment that some people choose (until they experience it firsthand). I've heard Langan and others express this "hell" / absence of God as our individual manifestation of ultimate personal regret, despair, and horror -- meaning everyones' hell is different, their own. As C. S. Lewis said (and Langan agreed with the sentiment) "The doors of Hell are locked from the inside!" So is God creating Hell or simply allowing us to create our own "hell" should we choose it? Would a loving God allow us to choose? The only thing I could say to that question is: "If God didn't give us a choice, we would simply be his pets. Since he does give us choice, does God hope we will become more?"
@blue5kiesАй бұрын
@@kaipacifica1289 A lot of people feel (or felt) the absence of God every day ... parents with dying kids, the Jews in Auschwitz, the mothers of slaughtered soldiers in Ukraine and Russia ... and so on.
