That's why I always said KISS was never as well off as they sold themselves to be because Aucoin made almost all the profit on the merchandise while the band blew their money on the road demanding luxuries. There was almost nothing left after their popularity diminished.

All thru the 80's Gene and Paul had this problem. Paul stayed with Gene for a bit. that was later in the early 90s. But then it was the ......Reunion !!!!! that got them out of it.
