I meet Chris outside Hammersmith Apollo one Saturday afternoon. I spotted him on the phone and stop in my tracks and thought I have to wait and say hello. I had meet him a few times over the years before but just a hello over a seriously loud sound system! I walked over and said alright Chris, he said how did we meet was it Techno? I said yes! Got chatting and he said fancy a pint in weather spoons I got some time! Fucking brilliant, I’ll have an IPA please so Chris had the same. Would normally be Stella but after one of them I can’t stop, and I had my kids with me 😂 he had a rucksack on and said I have my 303 in my bag off for a studio session later 👌🏻 I love my kid but that day I really wish they were with mum. Who knows what would of happened 🙁 I got his number anyway, what an absolute legend and the nicest guy you would care to meet! The craziest thing is I was staying in a hotel just around the corner. After my shower was deciding what to where. For some reason I didn’t put on my Stay Up Forever T Shirt, it was in my hand and I thought na... 10 minutes later I was have a pint with the man! 😳👍🏼
