I've worked in the banking sector before but am glad that Ugandans never took that lame advice from Hamis Kiggundu. It was based on his emotions and personal battles. He would never have built a third of his empire without banks. Mention one wealty individual who has built it outside the bank. In the modern society, the strength of the economy, depends on the largest part on the strength of the banking sector.

Contrary about banking. Chris, some people fear banks coz of the over charges they do monthly. Acase in point is post bank uganda. Its charges r abnormal coz i once had an account there. Even the economy is uncertain coz banks close now and then.So diasporans fear them. Ahmed Doha

The problem is that most of the affected ones realise it when it's too late . They find themselves in the kiyumba when they can no longer open the account in any bank. They don't have a chance to open it online since they have no documents or due to other challenges. Again while still in Uganda, They don't find such eye openers like u. They are totally green about banks. Most countries have no bank to bank transfers.

My brother Chris lule your information is valueable , but on regards to land/housing it is the ultimate of all,we all need land ,we need housing.they have inelastic demand.trust me,we need to sleep,eat,etc. all the wealth people we know on earth,check on them they are the ultimate landlords. even if they are in technlogy .banking,food like McDonalds,Bill gates etc ,they are the largest land owners.they rent out property,farms etc. trust me brother. I normally read about these guys.so i dont blame our sisters and brothers to want to buy land,but to advice them how and what for to use that land.but it's the ultimate in all.

Other peoblems include, arrivalism, showing off or bragging around among people, live above their means, shop expensive gadgets likes phones, laptops etc, womanize, drink alot, live as if they r in paradise coz here, people r spoon fed. (they provide free accommodation, free medical services, free water, electricity is ever on 247,free unforms, free blankets, free mattresses ), compete among themselvez, over trust home people and above all, they dont ve financial knowledge and investments in petty businesses
